LMA can provide emergency financial assistance in the form of vouchers for groceries, fuel, or emergency overnight shelter in a motel. Individuals can receive assistance up to three times per calendar year. Local churches take turns answering the LMA hotline and writing vouchers, so days and hours vary month-to-month.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.

My Plate provides recipes and resources to support building healthy and budget-friendly meals, detailed nutrition analysis, cost range for recipes and nutrient-rich options from the various food groups. You can download the app, healthy eating for all stages including pregnancy and breastfeeding.
