Lincoln County Events

Registration is open for Troy Parks District Swimming Lessons Ages 5 and up until May 30, 2024. Sessions run July 8-19 or July 22-August 2. Lessons are FREE to children within the Troy School District and $25 for out of District (pay with registration). Registration Forms are due by May 30, 2024 and available at WF Morrison Elementary, True Value or by email at tyann.h@gmail.com. Turn into the office at WF Morrison Elementary, True Value or mail to PO Box 755 in Troy. Confirmation of lessons and an official schedule will be sent out to students via email or mail by June 21.

Bring your bike and join Lincoln County Library Troy branch for bicycle storytime! We will read stories, learn some bicycle safety, and then bike the trail to the pump track and back again. Don’t Forget your helmet!

Join Lincoln County Library and Friends of Scotchman Peaks for a fun adventure into the ancient cedar forest near Bull Lake. We will be doing a hike, a craft, and a story time. Bring a snack and we will spend extra time exploring in the forest. 1.8 miles

Join Lincoln County Libraries Troy and Friends of Scotchman Peaks as we explore the old hwy between Libby and Troy. There are many small springs and cascades, and spectacular views of the Kootenai River. We will hike, enjoy a story, and create a cool craft. 3.5 miles

Join Lincoln County Libraries Troy and Friends of Scotchman Peaks an experience a beautiful hike around Lake Alvord which boasts abundent bird habitat such as loons, great blue herons, osprey, and bald eagles. This will be our end of summer celebration with a hike around the lake, story, picnic, and field day games. 2.6 miles
